Year 3 had an absolutely amazing trip to Birmingham Botanical Gardens. They enjoyed browsing the greenhouses looking at different species of plant. We also saw some interesting birds in their aviaries. In the afternoon, we had a fabulous rainforest workshop where children confidently shared their knowledge of the rainforest which made all the teachers so proud of their learning. In the workshop children got to handle and see some fascinating rainforest creatures. An excellent day had by all.

We had great fun here in year 4 today, learning about the play Romeo and Juliet as part of our Shakespeare week. The children had to create a freeze frame based on different parts and come up with what their character would say in that situation. It was lots of fun!

Year 6 enjoyed a trip to see the Knife Angel preceded by a visit to Worcester Cathedral where they had a talk and discussion about knife crime and the turmoil it has bought to families for many, many years following bereavement.
