A huge congratulations to our incredible Year 6 debate team! ![]()

These six Griffins represented our school brilliantly at Worcestershire's Debate Competition, reaching the Final and finishing as overall Runners Up out of 10 teams!![]()

They were specifically commended by the judging panel for their outstanding oracy skills, their ability to construct a compelling team argument using varied points and evidence, and for challenging the opposing teams respectfully. The team initially argued for the motion that the voting age should be reduced to sixteen and then in the final argued the case why the six-week summer holiday should be reduced.![]()

Their success was due to their dedication and motivation: spending hours preparing their speeches, rehearsing at home and collaborating in school to prepare for the event. We are so proud of their hard work and sophisticated communication! ![]()
