In our first session of our ‘Save the World’ club, we discussed how we can look after sunflowers to make them grow. Year 6 had a brilliant assembly and workshop with Bart Gee (an inspirational motivational speaker). He spoke to the children about how we can turn disability into possibility. The children got to see how much he has achieved, from being told he wouldn’t ever be able to walk to being able to complete a triathlon and drive a car. This was very inspiring and reminded us that there are no limits to what we can achieve. It was the perfect motivational afternoon that the children needed with the upcoming SATs testing. ... Year 6 had a brilliant workshop with Bart Gee (an inspirational motivational speaker). He spoke to the children about how we can turn disability into possibility. The children got to see how much he has achieved and reminded them that there are no limits to what we can do.
