Friday 3rd March saw our annual Founders day celebrations. The children participated in a whole school assembly led by our Head Boy and Girl. Each year group then discussed our values and what they meant to them.
The day continued with all classes completing a series of activities within their own class and with other classes. Year 6 shared stories with year 2 pupils and this was a great success. Parents were invited in to have breakfast or afternoon tea with their children. Year 3 spent a session knitting with their families, everyone learning a new skill.
The children chose two fundraising opportunities; collecting food for the food bank and dressing as ‘be unique’ and paying a Ā£1 with money being donated to support the Worcester Blind College.
The children had a marvelous day remembering what it is to be as a Griffin.
