On 23rd June, 30 ‘Hay Griffins’ went to Hay-on-Wye to take part in workshops all centered on books and reading. After a workshop with children’s author and poet Joseph Coelho, the children took part in a drawing session with author Sophy Henn. After a lovely summer picnic outside we had an afternoon of making pencil pots, spray painting book bags and decorating scrap books.
All of the children had a fun packed and inspirational day.
