At Perry Wood Primary, an academy school in the heart of Worcester, we are committed to providing our pupils with a well-rounded education that goes beyond the classroom. Our school’s vision, “Roots to Grow; Wings to Fly,” encapsulates our dedication to nurturing our pupils’ academic, social, and personal development, empowering them to soar to new heights.
One of the ways we bring this vision to life is through our annual Fantastic Pumpkin competition. This event, which has become a much-anticipated tradition at our school, encourages our pupils to tap into their creativity and explore the wonders of the natural world.
This year, we were thrilled to see an impressive array of entries, showcasing the incredible talent and imagination of our pupils. From spooky carvings to whimsical designs, the pumpkins displayed a wide range of artistic expression and problem-solving skills. The competition was fierce, but ultimately, the true winners were the sense of community, collaboration, and pride that permeated throughout the event.
As a school that values “Wide Horizons,” we believe in providing our pupils with diverse experiences that broaden their perspectives and ignite their curiosity.
We are proud of the creativity and dedication showcased by our pupils during the Fantastic Pumpkin competition, and we look forward to continuing to provide them with opportunities to explore their interests, develop their talents, and expand their horizons.
