Our Year 4 warriors had an incredible day at Bishops Wood, fully immersing themselves in the Viking way of life! From the crackle of the hearth to the strength of their shields, the children truly stepped back in time.
During our adventure, we:
Built sturdy shelters in the woods.
Became blacksmiths, hammering metal to craft our own amulets.
moulded clay pots using traditional techniques.
Explored an authentic Viking house to see how they lived.The children showed fantastic teamwork and creativity all day. Well done, Year 4!
