As a part of our work with ‘Primary Engineer’, our year 5 and 6 pupils were given the opportunity to attend a live interview with Dallas Campbell (a TV presenter, actor, author and STEM ambassador). During the interview, Dallas spoke about his career highlights working within Science and why it was so important to him.
The children really enjoyed hearing about some of the amazing things he had done and were given the opportunity to ask him some questions.
Dallas asked children to come up with a name for a programme he wanted to do, exploring what happens after you hit buy on an APP like Amazon.
Alex, a year 6 boy, thought up the name ‘Unpackaging the Journey’ – Dallas liked the idea so much he wrote it down and stated, “if you see a programme called this, please write to me and come and see it in person’. How exciting for Alex.
